The Cyber-Physics Company develops a platform for management of production assets and operation optimization by means of the hybrid simulation, which involves combining of data models and physico-mathematical models. On our platform, we integrate operational data and physico-mathematical models of processes and dynamic equipment, which allows to perform predictive malfunctions analysis, detect equipment condition using the virtual sensors, and optimize production processes. Along with this, we create the Marketpla—Āe for Digital Twins of equipment and processes, which already contains ready dynamic models for predictive analysis of the equipment fleet, and provides for expanding the assets base with a new set of the dynamic equipment model set, being a specific platform for cooperation of the equipment operators and Digital Twins developers. Ready solutions of the platform already include a number of dynamic models of installations for compressors, transformers, gas turbine generators, gas compressor units, which models can be used to perform predictive malfunction analysis. At the same time, we plan to integrate ready solutions on digital twins of the billet continuous casting processes to our platform in order to increase their quality.

Intelligent control platform for production assets on the base of hybrid analysis

The platform is a program solution for optimization of operation processes, with special focus on increase of productivity of an enterprise. It provides for the following possibilities:

  • Monitoring of the productive equipment condition, early detection of defects, and identification of the malfunction sources
  • Simulation and evaluation of economic viability of different operation scenarios
  • Prediction of specifics of productive processes running, their optimization and control

Mikhail Gusev

Chief Technology Officer of the Cyber-Physics Company

Expert in Digital Twins development, production optimization, and implementation of digital technologies in metal industry, aerospace and oil and gas industries. PhD dissertation on thermostability of nuclear reactor fuel assemblies. After defending the dissertation, he worked on numerical simulation of the billet continuous casting process. Mr. Gusev implemented a number of projects in the field of Digital Twins development for metal industry; among them a solution for optimization of the steel stirring process in the RH-vacuum vessel for the Novolipetsk Iron and Steel Plant.  For the Joint Stock Company Tupolev, he implemented a solution on the design data management for complex unit production. He participated as an invited speaker in sector-specific seminars on the use of Digital Twins for operation excellence. Since 2019, Mr. Gusev is a co-founder of Cyber-Physics , where he is engaged in scaling solutions for metal industry, which involves developing and implementing platforms for Digital Twins.

Sergey Nikolaev is a member of group researchers, conducting studies and developing solution for digitalization of companies, including creation of digital twins of complex units and systems. Sergey Nikolaev is an expert in numerical simulation and optimization of complex technical systems; he is also a certified professional in the product and system lifecycle management. Sergey has been developing systems of predictive and prescriptive analysis of equipment; he created a course on modern methods of product and system lifecycle management. He participate in development of educational programs on digital twins technologies, conducted workshops on Industry 4.0 for senior leadership and middle managers of Gazprom Neft. Sergey Nikolaev is the founder and CEO of Cyber-Physics. The Company develops solutions for management of technical condition of the operation assets.
